Agata Wierzbowski, the CLC Fellow for 2014/15, has posted a new blog entry on ‘Embracing Failure: The Paradox of Public Interest Lawyering‘.The entry is an amended version of a paper delivered at Progress 2015 Legal Drinks on 7-9 May 2015. Agata writes that embracing risk, doubt and failure is important for making an impact in public interest lawyering:

It is a wonderful paradox, that in the perfectionistic legal profession, we might actually be better at our work if we can only hold risk in our hands. And skate so close to failure that sometimes, inevitably, we tumble into icy waters.
