Jill Murray on ‘Regulating for Job Quality?’

In a recent book chapter in Angela Knox and Chris Warhurst (eds), Job Quality in Australia (The Federation Press, 2015), Associate Professor Jill Murray (with Andrew Stewart) examines how labour law in Australia regulates job quality. In ‘Regulating for Job Quality? Wages and Working Time under Australian Labour Law‘, Murray and Stewart conclude that

while Australian labour regulation has not evolved its own explicit discourse about job quality, that concept provides a fruitful lens through which to examine the system and its future development.
