La Trobe Law School congratulates alumni Meagan Keogh on her appointment to the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria on 5 August 2015. In a recent media release on her appointment, Attorney-General Martin Pakula was quoted saying:
“With a long legal career, Ms Keogh will bring extensive experience and a wealth of knowledge to the Magistrates’ Court.”
Meaghan Keogh graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor in Law. She then spent 16 years working for Victoria Legal Aid. In 2012, she received the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) President’s Award for Accredited Specialist of the Year, and she is currently Chair of the LIV’s Specialist Accreditation Board.
