This year La Trobe is entering a very competitive team of four top law students in the Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot. The Vis moot is one of the largest and most prestigious international moot competitions in the world, and attracts up to 400 Universities each year.
There are two legs of the competition, one for Europe and one for Asia Pacific, though both are open to all universities. La Trobe’s Vis team are competing in both.

As part of the preparations La Trobe will be having a friendly pre-moot round with the Deakin University team. Deakin University have a spectacular reputation in this competition. In the 2013/2014 Vis Moot, Deakin law students were ruled best in the world, winning the teams award in the Vis Moot in Vienna from a total of 290 participating law schools.
